Overview

High performance computing (HPC) solutions use the Intel® True Scale Solution for InfiniBand* Architecture to meet the needs of the most demanding set of applications. The Intel® True Scale Fabric Edge Switch consists of the 12200 family which are cost-effective fixed configurations and the 12300 family which offer more modularity. All Edge switches are 1U and support from 18 to 36-ports, are 40 Gbps switches and cost-effectively support a cluster of up to 36 servers. They can also be an edge switch option for larger multi-tier fabrics. These Intel® True Scale Fabric Edge switches are members of the Intel True Scale Fabric 12000 series of switches, delivering an exceptional set of high-speed networking features and functions. Also available for a variety of options such as redundant power and fans, and integrated management modules.
