Why isn't my MasterBlasterTM download cable auto-detected as new hardware after plugging it into the universal serial bus (USB) port? (Windows drivers)

Description

If Windows cannot detect the MasterBlaster download cable when it is plugged into the USB port, the USB ports may be disabled in the BIOS of the PC. To enable the USB port, restart your computer and wait for a screenshot on your PC indicating the necessary keystroke(s) to access BIOS. Typically, the necessary key is one of the function keys (e.g., F2) or ESC. Once you have accessed the system BIOS settings, enable the USB port, exit BIOS, and allow the system to complete the boot cycle. Your PC should now be able to detect new USB hardware including the MasterBlaster download cable.
