This document describes the issue of data loss of Intel® RAID Controllers cache memory even though RAID Maintenance Free Backup Unit provides cache protection. The issue has a low occurrence rate, is hard to replicate, and is observed on a small percentage of affected Intel® RAID Controllers. Corrective action is provided.
