Description
The SSD is no longer functioning: cannot format, partition, or access drive partitions.
Resolution
If your drive is inaccessible, cannot be formatted, or partitions could not be accessed, follow the troubleshooting guidance below.
- Make sure you're using the latest firmware. You can use the Intel® Memory and Storage Tool (GUI) or the Intel Firmware Update Tool for updating the firmware of the drive.
- Perform a secure erase on the drive. Refer to the links below for doing a low level format:
