Summary

How to rollback to a previous graphics driver when encountering black, white or static screens

Description

After windows 10 update, black or white foreground is seen in some software while running the application.

Unable to install Graphics Driver in Intel NUC

Resolution

Step 1: Goto device manager and expand "Display adapters".
Step 2: Double click on "Intel(R) HD graphics 520" and click "Roll back". Check if the driver roll back resolves the issue, if not follow step 3.
Step 3: If roll back option is "grayed out". Delete the latest version graphics driver manually until "Microsoft basic display adapter" is seen.
Step 4: Download latest driver version from "OEM manufacturer" website and install the driver manually.

Additional information

The applications were not optimized for latest graphics driver and that is the cause for the issue.
