Download and install the graphics driver manually when receiving error message from IDSA: "A customized computer manufacturer driver is installed on your computer..."
After manually updating the graphics driver from version 220.127.116.1194 to version 18.104.22.16886 an error message showed up .
A customized computer manufacturer driver is installed on your computer. The Intel Driver & Support Assistant is not able to update the driver. Installing a generic Intel driver instead of the customized computer manufacturer driver may cause technical issues. Contact your computer manufacturer for the latest driver for your computer.
Follow these steps:
- Download the latest Windows* update
- Download the latest Graphics Driver
- Uninstall the current Graphics Driver from Device Manager
- Install the latest driver manually.
Cause: Intel Driver and Support Assistant does not recognize the driver as an Intel product.
