Summary
Server performance degraded after failed drive on RAID 5.
Description
RAID 5 with 4 drives: one failed and is currently rebuilding after replacing failed drive. Performance when loading operating system (OS) is really slow.
Resolution
The performance will degrade when there's a rebuilding process going. Once the rebuilding is complete and the RAID array is back to optimal, the performance will go back to normal.
