Description

When setting up the email server for the Intel® RAID Web Console 3 (RWC3), Error Code: 9100 is seen when sending a test email.

 

Resolution

Error Code: 9100 means  Intel® RAID Web Console 3 (RWC3) is unable to send out a test email using the mail server configured.

  • Check your RWC3 mail server settings and make sure the information of your mail server is entered correctly.
  • RWC3 does not support mail servers that require TLS/SSL (such as the Gmail SMTP). Make sure the mail server you intend to use does not require TLS/SSL.
  • Alternatively, you may use a SMTP relay between RWC3 and your email server that requires TLS/SSL.
