What effect does the low-voltage I/O setting in global project device options have on the FLEX 10KA device family?

Environment

  • I O
  • BUILT IN - ARTICLE INTRO SECOND COMPONENT
Description If this option is turned on for the FLEX 10KA device family, it specifies an I/O pin voltage of 2.5 V in the data used to generate the timing simulator Netlist File (SNF) that is used for timing simulation and timing analysis. This option allows you to simulate the device as a 2.5-V device.

The exceptions to this are the FLEX&nbsp10K 50-V, FLEX  10K 130-V, and FLEX&nbsp10K 100ARC240 devices. These devices can only operate with an I/O voltage of 3.3 V. The MAX PLUS II compiler will ignore the low-voltage I/O setting for these devices.
