How do I enable Preloader support for HPS SDRAM preservation during warm reset?

Environment

  • Quartus® II Subscription Edition
    • BUILT IN - ARTICLE INTRO SECOND COMPONENT
    Description The HPS SDRAM controller subsystem can be configured to preserve the memory contents during a warm reset. This feature can be enabled in Preloader.
    Resolution

    To enable the memory preservation feature, use SoC Embedded Design Suite (SoCEDS) version 14.0.2.

    In Preloader Generator, turn on spl.warm_reset_handshake.SDRAM option under Advanced setting and build the Preloader.
