Is eMMC 8 bit data bus mode supported on Cyclone V SOC and Arria V SOC?

    Description

    Yes, the SDMMC controller on Cyclone® V SOC and Arria® V SOC does support 8 bit data bus for eMMC.

    The Hard Processor System Technical Reference Manual's incorrectly states support for 1-bit and 4-bit data buses only.

    Resolution

    This problem is scheduled to be fixed in a future release of the Cyclone V Hard Processor System Technical Reference Manual.
