2.2.2. Standalone Installation with the Intel® Quartus® Prime Pro Edition Programmer and Tools

You can install the standalone RiscFree* IDE with the Intel® Quartus® Prime Pro Edition Programmer and Tools.

The standalone RiscFree* IDE debug utility requires the Intel® Quartus® Prime Pro Edition Programmer and Tools binaries from the installed Intel® Quartus® Prime Pro Edition Programmer and Tools directory. Install the RiscFree* IDE in the same path as the Intel® Quartus® Prime Pro Edition Programmer and Tools: ../<Quartus_programmer_installation_directory>. If you select a different path, you receive an error message “You do not have Intel® Quartus® Prime software or Intel® Quartus® Prime Pro Edition Programmer and Tools installed”.
